Ear Wax Removal
Microsuction ear cleaning is a technique doctors use to remove earwax. Here in Mt. Hawthorn, Dr. Chauhan is offering this service to patients.
A few things to know about Microsuction:
- Patients should have a consult with Dr. Chauhan before being booked in for microsuction to ensure there is wax that needs to be removed.
- Patients must have had wax softening drops for 3-5 days prior.
- Microsuction is not recommended for patients who are unable to tolerate loud noise or stay still for any length of time (eg. young children, elderly patients with confusion).
