Dr Jaina Chauhan

Born and raised in England (UK), Dr Jaina Chauhan qualified from the University of Nottingham Medical School in 2006, and completed her GP training in South East London in 2012.  She holds further qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Sexual and Reproductive health. 

Jaina believes clear balanced communication and patient-centred care build the cornerstone of effective primary health care delivery.  She has worked as a GP in Perth since 2015 and maintains her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of GPs. She is currently working towards becoming a Certified Physician in Lifestyle Medicine.

Jaina delights in travel, music, arts, cooking and time spent with her family.

Dr Julie Manasseh

MBBS (UWA), FRACGP, Cert of Sexual Health, Post Graduate Diploma of Obesity and Weight Management.

Dr Julie Manasseh graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1988. Dr Julie believes in a patient centred approach when it is important to address the patients concerns and health beliefs.  Dr Julie also strongly believe in preventative health, which means identifying issues or risk factors and seeking to improve these.

Her areas of special interest and skill are:

    • Dr Julie aims to work with patients to develop a diet and exercise programme that is tailored to their needs as well as address behaviour changes to improve habits.

    • Contraceptive advice, implanon insertion and removal, STD checks.

Dr Shawn Hsia

Choosing a GP can be tricky: every patient has their own unique style, story and needs. Likewise, each GP brings their accumulated experience, personality and skill to the consultation. Dr Shawn was born in Taiwan, grew up in New Zealand, trained in South Australia and now working in Perth. He understands that people come from different backgrounds, and there is no one model that fits all.

Dr Shawn graduated from Flinders University in South Australia in 2011 with his medical degree, and then earned his Fellowship with the RACGP after training in WA. He has extensive experience in surgery and has a Master in Surgical Sciences from Adelaide University. 

Dr Shawn has a particular interest in skin cancer, minor surgical procedures, preventive medicine, mental wellbeing and men’s health. Shawn does not know all the answers, and will not pretend to, but he will try and help you find a solution.

Dr Shawn wakes up to strong coffee, appreciates arts, loves music, and has a good taste in wine. He jogs everyday, and is an utter nerd who spends his free time studying and reading. Dr Shawn is ready to help and consult you to sustain a healthier, and happier lifestyle.

Dr Arash V. Esfahani

Dr Arash has been practicing medicine  in Australia since 2010. Having a  wide range of interests including Women’s health, Men’s health, Paediatric, geriatric , mental health and  skin disorders,

Dr Arash endeavours to achieve excellence and thoroughness in his day-to- day practice.

Dr Arash became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019 which has enriched his work as a GP.

Dr Ashmita graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2011 and has spent several years working on the east coast, before coming back to sunny WA.

She earned her Diploma of Child Health in 2014 and her Fellowship of the Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016 and has an interest in all aspects of general practice, in particular Child Health, Chronic Disease and Skin.

When not working she attempts to cook, enjoys travel and finds ‘dad jokes’ highly amusing.

Dr Jane Ralls

Dr Jane Ralls is a highly experienced General Practitioner and enjoys the whole range of Family Medicine, and cares for people at all ages and stages of their lives.

Dr Ralls has extra qualifications in community child health and in family planning and extensive experience in women’s health (including youth). She has also worked in palliative care, giving her excellent experience in pain management, and a holistic approach to health care.

Any new patients of Dr Ralls will need to call the surgery on 9444 1644 for an appointment.

Dr Ben Banwait

Dr Ben Banwait has been a GP for over 20 years. His experience ranges from working as a General Practitioner, a GP Teaching Supervisor with the Australian General Practice Training Organisation (AGPT) and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Authority (AHPRA) and being a Clinical Advisor to the Australian Commonwealth Government.

After more than a decade as a GP in the Northern Hemisphere, namely Ireland and the UK, the family sought a sunnier life in Perth. They are well settled here a decade on and have made this their permanent home together with their Jack Russell Terrier called Barry and their British Blue Cat called Misai.

Dr Banwait practices across the full range of General Practice. In addition, he brings to the surgery his experience and special interests in

  • The Management of Chronic Pain.
  • Musculo-Skeletal Injuries
  • Prevention and Management of Chronic Diseases
  • Dermatology
  • Skin Cancers checks, Minor Surgery and Skin Excisions including flap repairs.

Dr Esmee Cordes

Esmee graduated with her medical degree in Amsterdam. Esmee moved to Australia over 10 years ago and has worked throughout rural western Australia. Esmee has special interests in Skin Cancer detection and removal, womens and children’s health.
